Cloud Solution Architect (m/f/d)

• Design of highly available and scalable cloud architectures in the IoT context
• Design of architectures for the development of data processing environments
• Analysis and conceptual design of high-performance and secure interfaces for the connection and integration of assets into the cloud platform
• Technical leadership of development teams for the technical implementation of the outlined solutions
• Modelling and documentation of the outlined solutions according to established standards
• Definition and support of cloud-based projects within the network framework of Rheinmetall

• Successfully completed degree in computer science or comparable training with corresponding professional experience
• Several years of project experience in the cloud environment
• Initial experience in supporting development teams in the technical implementation of scalable cloud architectures and the associated tools, technologies and processes (CI/CD, Git, Docker)
• Competence in modelling data structures (UML) and designing classic databases (POSTgreSQL)
• Knowledge of standardised interfaces (REST, Sockets) and message protocols (AMQP, MQTT)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity in the cloud context (network and infrastructure security, endpoint security, data protection and encryption) is advantageous
• Very good written and spoken English
• Independent and self-reliant way of working as well as distinct ability to work in a team
