About the Team

You will be an essential team member of the Program Leadership Team, contributing by integrating schedule, cost, risk and reporting information to track and drive project performance. You will achieve this by leaning on your stakeholder management skills, by integrating internal stakeholders to achieve project outcomes. Leaning on your leadership skills, you will be in charge of four direct reports that contribute to the integration of the LAND 400 Phase 2 project.

About the Role

The Program Integration Manager is responsible for ensuring the development, implementation and maintenance of the vertically integrated Contract Master Schedule, Change Management and Action Tracking.

The responsibilities of the Program Integration Manager include, but not limited to:

  • Lead the development and updating of the Contract Master Schedule in accordance with the AUSDEFCON Complex contracting model;
  • Provide guidance, coaching and direct support to the Entity Program Teams to increase understanding and compliance to customer requirements;
  • Review, monitor and report the project performance to ensure the project is being progressed in accordance with the Contract Master Schedule and the Statement of Work. This includes all planned work, contracted change and corrective actions (warranty, V&V Failures, etc.);
  • Identify, track and manage issues and risks across Entities;
  • Liaise with the Commonwealth of Australia and other stakeholders such as approved subcontractors or suppliers as required; and
  • If required, lead development of scope changes, through to bid, negotiation and CCP implementation.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

  • Proven (10+ years) experience in Project/Program Management, preferably within the Defence Industry;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline;
  • Experience in managing project and project resources including subcontractors and multiple service providers using PM methodologies; and
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
