On site in Neuenburg am Rhein

In my new job, it was important to me to have a role with an organisational and planning focus that also suited my technical background. As I was looking for a job close to France for personal reasons, I came across Rheinmetall's site in Neuenburg. Because I have always been fascinated by the industry and Rheinmetall also has an excellent reputation here, the decision was quickly made and I wanted to start here. Everything just fell into place. I have now been working at the Neuenburg plant as a master electrician and responsible electrical engineer since November 2022 and am in charge of the electrical department. My areas of responsibility include building installations, plant infrastructure, maintenance of machinery and equipment, telecommunications, administration and setting up a local network of technicians, as well as legal compliance in electrical engineering.

The growth of the industry is naturally also affecting our location, and we have many projects in the pipeline. We are working on bringing our production facilities up to the latest state of the art and optimally integrating the new facilities into our processes. It is important that the infrastructure is in line with the new requirements that the future will bring. From conception to the finished plant, the work here in Neuchâtel is particularly exciting and varied. We are also in the process of setting up a new production line to meet the upcoming orders. In addition, we have also modernised our older facilities from the ground up.
