Times Square Cup –
Playing football and doing good in the heart of New York
In the heart of New York City, surrounded by neon lights and endless streams of people – Times Square within its unique backdrop. Playing football in one of the most famous places in the world and doing good at the same time.
It was a special experience for us to be part of the BVB team at the Corporate Times Square Cup. Rheinmetall employees and BVB legends – united for a good cause.
The tournament is organized by Street Soccer USA, an organization dedicated to integrating disadvantaged youth and adults from structurally disadvantaged regions into the labor market, providing them with educational opportunities, and helping them with access to housing. A great tournament for a great cause!
By the way: The BVB legends were challenged beyond the pitch as well.
