Rheinmetall Waffe Munition ARGES GmbH, founded in 1952 and based in Rüstorf beside Schwanenstadt, Austria, has been a subsidiary of the German Rheinmetall AG since 2005.
Its product portfolio includes 40x46mm low-velocity cartridges and hand grenades, as well as ammunition components and testing fixtures.

In collaboration with other RWM sites, Rheinmetall offers a broad portfolio of low-velocity (LV) rounds compatible to any intensity of warfare—including training, impulse, and less-lethal ammunition, as well as flash-bang, irritant, high-explosive, illuminating, and smoke rounds.
Our cartridges are characterized by high precision and reliability under all climatic conditions, as well as excellent compatibility with all standard 40mm LV grenade launchers and rifle-mounted grenade systems.
All products are NATO-qualified and have been introduced by various armed forces worldwide.
