The FSTD (Flight Simulation Training Device) Chief Maintenance Manager is responsible to ensure the C130J FSTD maintenance and qualification, manage the FSTD maintenance team and assure the smooth and efficient FSTDO operation.

The FSTD Chief Maintenance Manager is a key member of the FSTDO (Organisation) and will be required to regulary liaise with various stakeholders.

The general and generic duties of the FSTD Chief Maintenance Manager include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for the technical and operational supervision of the FSTD at the C-130J Training Centre
• Assist on the initial qualification of the FSTDO and maintaining the qualification
• Supervision and standardization of the personnel entrusted with the maintenance of the FSTD
• Content and distribution of the training manual and procedures
• Regular inspection of the FSTD (QTG's, subjective flights, etc.)
• Configuration control of the FSTD (training scenarios, visual system, FSTD databases)
• Monitoring and reporting of the technical condition; processing of the Technical Fact Reports
• Process FSTD annual Obsolescence Monitoring reports
• Process FSTD annual Logistical Data
• Ensuring the safe operation of the FSTD
• Monitoring of ADs and SBs for aircraft as well as SBs issued by simulator operators
• Documentation of performed services and preparation of error logs
• Carrying out customer/user training
• Instruction and support of the user for the operation of the delivered products
• Assist on carrying out maintenance, repair, troubleshooting tasks of the FSTD

• Completed technician training in the field of electrical engineering or comparable
• Experience in handling technical system documentation and electrical test equipment
• Professional experience in the field service of an industrial company desirable
• Knowledge of defense technology products is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of German and/or Dutch, an advantage
• Ability to work independently and on one's own responsibility as well as a service-oriented manner
