- Design authority for the system level architecture baseline
- Define, maintain and pilot data-driven systems architectures and CONOPS
- Ensure coherence between the mission objectives and user services
- Ensure coherence with the data lifecycle design between data pipeline architecture, processing chains, storage and cloud infrastructure, APIs and user dissemination platforms
- Perform system level trade-offs and system performance budgets
- Oversee and support interfaces definition, ensuring interoperability with external systems
- Define validation and quality assurance strategy
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver a consistent and scalable mission solution
- Technical leadership of R&D/R&T projects
- Supporting project management for projects implementation from the system to component development, if necessary
- Successfully completed university degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable
- Several years of experience in system-of-systems architecture design for space projects (space and ground segment)
- Several years of experience in space systems end-to-end performance analysis and simulations, constellations design, mission analysis
- Experience in space systems design for defence customers (classified environments)
- Very good understanding of several space sensing domains (SAR, electro-optical, RF)
- Technical leadership and accountability
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel occasionally
