Are you looking for a real springboard for your career and want to become a manager of tomorrow at Rheinmetall? With our Development Program Operations for experienced professionals (m/f/d), we will prepare you for a responsible position in production in just 12 months. Accompanied by personal mentors (m/f/d) and goal-oriented training measures, you will get to know the various Rheinmetall divisions and companies in the DACH region and internationally in different positions and build up a relevant network across all hierarchical levels.

Join our team in the Operations department. Your activities will focus on the following aspects, for example:

  • Sustainable development of production processes and standards with a focus on the operational part of the value-added process
  • Improvement of material flow within logistics to ensure optimal supply to production
  • Analysis and optimization of processes and implementation of methods and concepts, e.g. from the field of lean management
  • Deepening and applying specialist knowledge and skills with a direct impact on the company's success
  • Continuous optimization with regard to activities in work preparation
  • Participation in exciting national and international projects in a dynamic, growing environment

 

The position is available in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Spain and the United Kingdom.

  • Successfully completed degree in industrial engineering, production engineering or management, or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in operations in an industry with a high degree of automation or a high degree of technical customization
  • Strong knowledge of, for example, operational excellence, production engineering, production planning, work preparation, logistics, planning or automation, and confident application of this knowledge in practice
  • Initial experience in a team leadership or project management role
  • Experience in project management and change management is an advantage
  • Confident written and spoken German and English
  • Experience in harmonizing project teams with empathy for interpersonal aspects and in stakeholder management
  • Analytical skills and strong planning and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills across interfaces and hierarchical levels
  • High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel extensively within the scope of the program
