WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Conception and implementation of Enterprise Linux infrastructures with a focus on web servers/application servers
- Ensuring the stable operation and further development of our Linux platform and system-related applications
- Automation of deployment processes with Ansible
- Creating operational documents and concepts
- Collaboration in international project teams
- Coordination and management of external service providers
The position can be filled at the Düsseldorf, Kassel, Kiel, Berlin, Unterlüß, Neuenstadt and Bremen locations.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Completed studies or comparable training in the IT sector
- Experience in operating Enterprise Linux infrastructures with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience in working with Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server required and expertise in working with similar products (e.g. JBoss EAP, Nginx) desirable
- Know-how in container orchestration with Podman and OpenShift desirable
- Knowledge of AIX, HACMP and PowerHA desirable
- Assertiveness, flexibility and intercultural competence
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
- Willingness for business trips to other locations and on-call duty
