WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Technical and disciplinary management of the Industrial Engineering Department
Responsibility for technical project management, scheduling, and risk management for the overall development
Core member of our production focused plant manager team
Advising and supporting production management with regard to technologies and production concepts
Execution and implementation of defined development tasks within the planned time frame and budget
Collaboration in international projects
Representation of the development team to the program and sales departments (One Face to the Customer)
Conducting and following up on regular project/program audits, including reporting on quality and the definition of KPIs
In this key position, you will be responsible for strategic planning, the implementation of efficient production systems and the continuous improvement of operational processes

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Completed (technical) university degree in the field of mechanical engineering/ production engineering or Industrial engineering with a focus on production technology.
You have strong leadership skills and experience in leading and developing motivated teams.
Relevant professional experience in a comparable function. At least 7 years in the field of serial production of mechanical components
Experience in the optimization of technical production processes
Experience in the defense, automotive, aerospace, and aviation industries is desirable
Team oriented and motivated to interchange with colleagues of a global production network
Business fluent written and spoken English, German is an advantage.
Very good understanding of development processes
Strong analytical and rhetorical skills
Willingness to travel
