You will be part of our Corporate Security Team and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and corporate security policies.

As Chief Security Officer Romania at Rheinmetall Rheinmetall Automecanica, you can expect your daily tasks to include:

• Implementing site plans and policies and coordinating the necessary security measures in accordance with corporate security requirements
• Facilitating and delivering security awareness training and conducting briefing sessions as required
• Supporting the development and implementation of threat and risk assessments
• Ensuring that the supply chain meets the requirements of Defence Security Governance
• Conducting annual security assessments to meet the requirements of the Corporate Security Programme
• Processing access controls, ID cards and site clearances for both visitors
• Coordinating and managing security personnel
• Supporting the planning and tracking of activities relating to security-related topics (site, travel, expat and overseas security, protection of know-how, emergency and crisis management, etc.)
• Other tasks as instructed by the RH Chief Security Manager

• A completed bachelor’s degree in industrial security, security management/management, security organization or other security-related disciplines (general police or military training does not qualify you for the role unless you have a secondary security-related university degree)
• Proven professional experience of at least four years in the field of physical and personal security management
• Proven experience of at least one year in operational security within the management of government facilities or individuals with high security clearance
• Understanding of the obligations of security management (including legal obligations), requirements and dynamics
• A genuine desire to provide security services with a high degree of personal responsibility
• Experience with relevant MS and other computer software
• Ability to contribute to the management and control of security
• Leadership qualities and the ability to lead a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Class B driving license
• Structured approach to work and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel
• Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, assess the consequences of proposed measures and make recommendations to support objectives;
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and teams,
• Excellent command of the Romanian language and knowledge of English or German for reporting purposes
