Every person in our team plays a critical role in delivering OMNIA Training’s vision; designing, delivering, and transforming collective training so the British Army is ready to fight and win. The HR lead will provide front-line HR advice and management support on people matters to Directors, Managers and Staff. You will assist the business in ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and ensure the development and maintenance of UK HR policies and procedures in line with employment law and good practice.

Responsibilities & Tasks Strategic HR Leadership • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives • Advise senior leadership on workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development Employee Relations & Engagement • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment • Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts effectively • Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention Recruitment & Talent Acquisition • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and selection criteria • Ensure a diverse and high-performing talent pipeline Performance Management • Design and manage performance review systems • Support managers in setting goals and providing feedback • Identify training and development needs Policy Development & Compliance • Create and update HR policies and procedures • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal standards • Manage audits and risk assessments related to HR practices HR Operations & Systems • Oversee data systems and maintain data integrity • Manage benefits and compensation structures • Monitor HR metrics and generate reports for stakeholders Skills • CIPD qualified (level 5) with at least 2 years’ experience • Strong knowledge of employment law & HR best practices • Ability to influence managers and senior leaders about people issues. • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation • Data-driven decision making and analytical skills Personal Attributes • Empathetic and approachable • High level of integrity and confidentiality • Attention to detail • Proactive and results-oriented • Adaptable to change and resilient under pressure • Ability to resolve conflict • Committed to equality, diversity and inclusion • Strong sense of accountability and ownership • Good use of initiative
