HSE - Health & Safety Specialist (m/f/d)

  • Environmental data reporting to the government agency, annual waste reporting, annual air quality reporting, and data reporting related to extended producer responsibility (EPR)
  • Overseeing the environmental sustainability aspect of the company’s ESG system and preparing reports
  • Initiate and participate in the development of the company's system of work, fire and environmental rules
  • Together with Production Managers, identify and record HSE training needs and provide company, departmental and individual level training and development for employees as required
  • Responsible for meeting accident investigation and reporting requirements as well as for the timely adoption and completion of appropriate corrective actions
  • Supporting the commissioning and start-up of new equipment; monitoring and reporting on periodic and routine inspections; maintaining equipment records
  • Management of required environmental-, health- and safety monitoring measurements
  • Developing a regulatory framework for emissions of volatile organic compounds, collecting data, and reporting data to the authorities
  • Performing tasks related to waste management
  • Recording and monitoring of air quality measurements and permits
  • Environmental improvements, preparation of new projects
  • Participation in internal and external audits and inspections; addressing deficiencies 
  • University degree in the area of HSE (occupational safety, fire protection or environmental engineering)
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent English and Hungarian language skills
  • Ability to monitor multiple parallel processes
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, mail system (Outlook or HCL Notes), Eticor
