Instrumenting Service Deputy
Rheinmetall Electronics UK Ltd. in Warminster
Ref. no.: UK00808
Schedule type: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent Full-Time
At OMNIA Training, we’ve brought together some of the UK’s most innovative defence training organisations into a single consortium to delivery one powerful mission: to transform the British Army’s training system and create the best-trained Army in the world.
OMNIA Training will redefine the British Army’s collective training, standing up as the Army’s Strategic Training Partner. To do that, we are looking for the best and brightest minds from across the UK. We are backed by British innovation and powered by world-class experts, like you.
OMNIA Training is primed by Raytheon UK, but all five partners (Raytheon, Rheinmetall, Capita, Skyral and Cervus) are key to delivering the scope of the contract.
Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) is entrusted with the training delivery aspect of the contract meaning that you will be at the front and centre of British Army training.
This is more than a job — it’s a mission. You will be part of a high-impact, collaborative environment, where we expect everyone to live the values and standards of the British Army. Every person in our team plays a critical role in delivering OMNIA Training’s vision; designing, delivering, and transforming collective training so the British Army is ready to fight and win.
As the Instrumenting Service Deputy, you will support multidisciplinary teams instrumenting live training to gather data for analysis and exploitation. You will manage team readiness and training to ensure consistent delivery across varied environments. You will coordinate instrumentation planning and support activities with Scheduling, Controlling, and Composing services. You will coordinate with other Omnia services to ensure correct instrumentation of training and appropriate data capture. You will ensure that resources are in place to enable the delivery of Live training – this will initially be via incumbent TES contracts, and later with Omnia Training resources. The role will need to ensure that GFX training instrumentation provision is sufficient to meet the training demand schedule. The role will support the continuous improvement of collective training and related instrumentation capabilities to support measurable, scalable, and data-driven training environments. You will work closely with other services to ensure Live training is delivered effectively utilising the appropriate staff. You will integrate technical systems, logistics, and data collection processes to provide accurate, secure, and timely information to other CTTP services.
