WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Assist and drive administration aspects of Site continuous improvement initiatives (CII) Projects.
- Support Process Engineer with new product development, where and if required.
- Support Process Engineer in developing and updating of all Manufacturing documentation (Facility Operating Instruction and Product Manufacturing Instructions).
- Support Process Engineer with detailed planning and execution of CAPEX and OPEX projects.
- Support Process Engineer with Manufacturing support, Process and Quality failure investigations, technical support to Modifications, Risk assessments, etc.
- Be actively involved with Process Engineering Manager in developing and implementing Process Safety management system for the company, which involves all 18 elements.
- Adhere to and implement Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- BEng/BSc/BTech in Chemical Engineering or NQF 7 equivalent qualification.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinker with good reasoning and problem-solving skills on multi-disciplinary project.
- Lean Manufacturing and Value stream mapping knowledge.
- Good understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals.
- Computer Literate
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
