Procurement Specialist

About the Team

Work along side industry professionals with a team that is growing to meet the manufacturing demand for our product for our Commonwealth. This role will be based on-site at our Military Vehicle Center of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) site. Have the ability to see what you are procuring and learn the product as it comes to site.

About the Role

Reporting directly to a Category Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and then leading the sourcing of goods and services in relation to your designated programs of work within the business. You will also be tasked with conducting analysis and market research on a variety of sourcing projects.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

• Proven experience & results in end-to-end procurement;
• The ability to demonstrate experience across all Procurement fundamentals;
• Strong understanding of Indirect costs associated with Capital Expenditure, Plant & Equipment, Tools;
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels; and
• High level ability to collate and write requirements documents.
