About the Team
Reporting into the Program Director L400-2, the Program Manager, Turreted Variants will lead a team of Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of their respective Boxer variant. The successful applicant will interact with a number of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment between internal teams and external customers.
About the Role
The Program Manager L400-2, Turreted Variants will be responsible for Program Management turreted vehicle variant through to System Acceptance, the common Drive Module, and contracted Deployment Kits. The successful candidate will ensure all deliverables are planned and delivered on schedule and to the required standard. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and update Contract Master Schedule in accordance with the ASDEFCON Complex contracting model for all program deliverables;
- Establish, maintain and manage Rheinmetall Entity and Sub-Contractor contracts to effect delivery of the program;
- Manage and execute scope of delivery through direct management of a number of RDA Project Managers;
- Provide oversight to Mandated System Reviews to ensure all deliverables are to the requisite standard and timing;
- Participate in the development of scope changes, through to bid, negotiation and CCP implementation; and
- Present to stakeholders reports on the progress as well as challenges and remediation plans when necessary.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Proven experience in project/program management, preferably within the Defence Industry;
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline;
- Experience in managing projects and project resources including subcontractors and multiple service providers using PM methodologies; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
