Rheinmetall Hungary Munitions Zrt, a member of the Rheinmetall Group, is looking for a Project Manager for its new factory in Várpalota.
Your main tasks will be:
- Project planning, organistion, monitoring and controlling of many involved parties and disciplines throughout all project phases for projects in the field of defence- related activities, such as transfer of technology projects, capacity enhancement, process improvement or plant development projects
- Project-related conceptional development, such as implementation of new capabilities to a plant from initiation through planning to the implementation and ramp-up
- Taking over internal and external coordination and act as an interface between the involved parties
- Ensuring project delivery within the agreed scope, cost, quality and timeline
- Manage & overcome obstacles and risks arising during all project phases
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain quality standards within the projects
- Project status reporting on project progress, risks, schedule and change management towards the management
- Take over certain smaller coordination tasks even if these are not considered as a project or part of a project
To succeed in this role, you bring a foundation in project leadership and stakeholder management.
- Flexibility to accept different project and tasks also on short notice

- Willingness to travel from time to time, especially during the onboarding period
- Willingness to work in the defence industry
- Rapid comprehension, abstraction of knowledge with its application by use case
- Ability to adapt to a volatile and growing environment
- Ability to overlook a variety of topics and manage the project to an overarching objective
- Ability to prioritize competing interests / urgencies
- “Hands-on mentality” and solution-oriented thinking is a must
- Curiosity for learning and understanding new fields and areas beyond the daily tasks
- Fluent English and Hungarian language skills
