Senior accountant (m/f/d)

Rheinmetall Hungary Munitions Zrt, a member of the Rheinmetall Group, is looking for a highly motivated Senior accountant (m/f/d) who is eager to take over responsibility and actively contribute to a dynamic and international environment.

In this position, you will work in our Financial department and will be responsible for accounting and reporting tasks.

Your main tasks will be:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports according to IFRS and Hungarian GAAP
• Develop, update and maintain documents, reports and General Ledger Accounting according to IFRS and Hungarian GAAP, including journal entries, payment runs, general and subledger account reconciliations, accruals, etc.
• Fixed asset accounting, including capitalizations, depreciation, reconciliations and leasing
• Coordinating and supervising the work of junior accountant
• Close coordination with tax advisors for tax returns and other tax related topics
• Responsible point of contact for authorities, e.g. TAX authorities for monthly TAX returns, KSH reports etc.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation
• Preparation of reports, statistics, and financial statements
• Support for planning and controlling processes

• Bachelor's degree in the field of economics or finance
• Certified Public Accountant/or IFRS Accountant qualification
• Minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing accounting experience

To succeed in this role, you need following skills:

• Very good knowledge of SAP FI
• Experienced IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Professional fluency in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken
