Germany’s most attractive employers in 2022 – Rheinmetall takes top marks in two categories

According to the StepStone group’s Universum Student Survey, German university students continue to see the technology enterprise Rheinmetall AG as one of the country’s most attractive employers for students. This time the Düsseldorf-based Group excelled in two different categories: IT and Engineering. In the annual survey, some 39,000 students at 235 German institutes of higher learning were polled on matters such as the attractiveness of companies and the characteristics that university students appreciate in an employer.

Rheinmetall views this positive outcome as a vindication of the Group’s efforts to provide its staff with satisfying tasks, a healthy work-life balance, and attractive benefits. Commenting on the results of the survey, Peter Sebastian Krause, member of the Rheinmetall AG executive board with special responsibility for human resources, noted that “this year Rheinmetall has been voted one of Germany’s most attractive employers in the fields IT and Engineering again. My sincere thanks go to the men and women of our staff for these outstanding results, which clearly show that students think highly of Rheinmetall as an employer. Now it’s our job to build on this trend”.
