Rheinmetall strengthens finance base for further growth – syndicated credit line doubled early to €1.5 billion

  • Syndicated credit line renewed ahead of schedule; doubled from €750m to €1.5bn
  • Group of main core banks strategically realigned and expanded to include additional international banking partners
  • Additional financial leeway supports Rheinmetall’s continued growth trajectory
  • Further important step towards strengthening the finance structure following the successful bond issuance in May 2026

Rheinmetall has renewed its existing syndicated credit line ahead of schedule and doubled its volume from €750 million to €1.5 billion. At the same time, Rheinmetall has strategically realigned its group of main core banks and expanded it to include additional international banking partners.

With this new line of credit, Rheinmetall is creating additional financial leeway and aligning its finance structure with the Group’s expected growth at an early stage. The transaction also strengthens the long-term relationships with its existing main core banks and strategically expands its banking network to include strategic partners.

The renewal of the syndicated credit line marks a further step in the ongoing development of the Group’s financing. In May 2026, Rheinmetall had already successfully placed a €500 million bond on the capital market. With this significantly expanded credit line, Rheinmetall is further broadening its finance base and increasing its financial flexibility for the Group’s future development.

Klaus Neumann, CFO of Rheinmetall AG: “Rheinmetall is on a dynamic growth trajectory. By renewing and doubling our syndicated credit line ahead of schedule, we are creating additional financial leeway at an early stage for the Group’s further development. At the same time, we have further developed our group of main core banks and added strategic international partners. Following the successful bond issuance in May, this is a further important step towards consistently aligning our finance structure with Rheinmetall’s future growth”.

The new syndicated credit line replaces the previous €750 million line of credit and is available to Rheinmetall for general corporate purposes.
