ACE-AR is a next-generation head-mounted augmented reality display technology. ACE-AR addresses numerous challenges associated with delivering 360-degree situational awareness in confined, space-limited vehicle cabins, critically mitigating effects of eye fatigue and nausea found with other VR and AR market solutions.
ACE-AR maintains familiar standard operating procedures and provides a direct view of critical functional safety equipment. At the same time, it intuitively expands the user's situation awareness by additionally delivering extra visual information feeds, including tactical and synthetic information as well as multiple indirect vision camera views.
ACE-AR is currently optimised for the armoured platform environment but is currently being developed for dismounted soldier system and FPV drone use. ACE-AR has applicability across a broad range of use cases and should be considered for other environments including training, air and maritime.
