Dominance through comprehensive Situational Awareness

Wrong decisions are made in unclear situations

Modern theatres of operation are highly dynamic and fragmented. Parallel events, limited visibility and changing threats make it difficult to reliably assess the situation. Information from different sensors and sources is often isolated, delayed or incompatible. Commanders struggle with information overload, and decisions must be made quickly as situational awareness quickly becomes outdated. Enemy deception, camouflage and jamming measures further distort perception of reality. At the same time, terrain and weather conditions can limit the effectiveness of individual sensor technologies. Delays in transmission and evaluation result in a loss of valuable response time. Without an integrated, covert and real-time capable system, the ability to gain an overview, respond quickly and operate effectively is significantly reduced.

ASN100 – Autonomous Acoustic Sensor Network

The ASN100 provides reliable, continuous situational awareness in battlefield, border and infrastructure protection scenarios. Its modular sensor architecture combines acoustic sensors with optional EO, PIR and future technologies, and can be flexibly adapted to any mission. AI-supported target recognition and classification enable the precise detection of UAVs, vehicles and dismounted forces in near real time. All sensor data is seamlessly integrated into existing battle management systems and immediately available for operational decision-making. The passive architecture, encrypted data transmission and low data rates minimise the electromagnetic signature and increase survivability in enemy territory. Its compact, lightweight and cost-efficient design allows for both area coverage and covert point reconnaissance. The result is faster decision-making, reduced risk, and a sustainable operational advantage.

The self-sufficient, passive and extremely difficult to detect sensor network generates 360° non-line-of-sight (NLOS) situational awareness, reduces the workload on personnel, extends the effective radius of own forces and provides precise reconnaissance data in real time.

The access point software merges the detections and classifications into individual displays in the network.

Data compression takes place on the sensor, so that only small amounts of data are transmitted.

Protecting long and difficult-to-access border sections presents a huge challenge to security forces. Complex terrain, high personnel costs and a variety of threats, such as sabotage, espionage and illegal border crossings, often result in surveillance gaps. Our 24/7 real-time detection system efficiently closes these gaps. AI-supported classification and identification reliably detect relevant events, regardless of visibility or weather conditions. Broad, continuous coverage is achieved by networking a small number of cost-efficient sensors. Precise location tracking enables rapid countermeasures and significantly reduces personnel workload. This makes border protection more effective, sustainable, and economical.

Traditional battlefield reconnaissance quickly reaches its limits in complex terrain, difficult weather and visibility conditions, and large areas of operation. Our real-time early warning system reliably overcomes these challenges: scalable, mobile sensors that operate independently of line of sight provide a consistent situational awareness, even in dynamic scenarios. Seamless integration into existing C4I systems ensures a uniform and immediately usable information base. Covert movements and invading air and ground forces are detected at an early stage, enabling task forces to react more quickly, minimise risks and secure operational advantages. The result is greater security, better decision-making and significantly increased operational effectiveness.
