Zeppelin Shelter

General Information

The floor areas of the expandable shelters are on one level when extended, so there are no steps or landings in the shelter interior. The design of ZEPPELIN-Shelters® always allows wall mounting of technical or medical equipment also in the expandable part as well as fixed mounting in the floor and ceiling area of the main shelter.

Depending on the design, the ZEPPELIN-Shelters® have a separate technical room on the front side for e.g. power supply and air conditioning. On request, the ZEPPELIN-Shelter® can be equipped with C-rails on the walls and in the floor for mounting the installation parts.

Especially for use in technical areas, the ZEPPELIN-Shelters® can be equipped with RF shielding (minimum shielding of 45 dB in the frequency range between 100 kHz and 1 GHz).

Optionally, the ZEPPELIN Container Shelters can achieve a ballistic protection level and be equipped with an NBC protection ventilation system.

The customer-specific equipment includes individual system integration (EDP, rack installation, communication technology, etc.) as well as lighting and furnishing.

Already during the design of the shelter cell, customer-specific reinforcements of the profile frames to accommodate heavy attachments, mounting points, lighting, cabling or supply openings and breakthroughs can be taken into account.

RMS always realizes design adaptations of the shelters to allow for special equipment, installations or attachments according to customer requirements.

The shelters can be individually interconnected by means of locks - special connecting shelters or pole or inflatable tents - and thus combined to form a complex, closed unit.

The operation of the ZEPPELIN-Shelter® is possible on a vehicle as well as on the ground.
