Ship engine training

Rheinmetall supplies customers with training resources that meet requirements arising from real situations, realistically represented in a lifelike exercise scenario. Operating in a safe training environment, trainees gain experience in routine and dangerous situations at an identical technical level.

Our SES7 ship engine simulator is more than just a machinery simulator; it is a shipboard technical equipment simulator offering a full spectrum of options, ranging from generic systems to highly detailed replication of manufacturer-specific systems and equipment, up to control and stimulation of original hardware and software such as ship automation and diagnostic systems.

Close cooperation with original equipment manufacturers of propulsion and automation systems made it possible to connect the original automation systems to the simulation. This type of sophisticated technical simulation represents the current cutting edge in professional, simulation-based training technology for shipboard technical systems.
