The LMV Wolf Pack comprises three vehicle variants: Shadow Wolf, Silver Wolf and Timber Wolf. Each variant is based on the common vehicle platform and designed to meet different operational requirements and roles. Together, they provide a flexible and scalable vehicle family for a wide range of military missions.

Shadow Wolf

General Purpose Vehicle

The Shadow Wolf is a high-mobility tactical General Purpose Vehicle designed for complex terrain. With a 3.5 t gross vehicle weight and 3.5 t towing capacity, it provides flexible stowage for personnel and mission equipment as well as adaptable weapon stowage. The enclosed loadspace enhances protection for personnel and equipment. The vehicle features a 24 V electrical system with a NATO-compliant towing interface and is prepared for future GVA, HUMS and mission-system integration.

Command and Control / EW Role

In its Command and Control and EW configuration, the Shadow Wolf enables modular integration of C2 and Electronic Warfare mission systems. Flexible mission racking and trunking, together with an adaptable operator workspace, support different mission configurations. In-vehicle access to mission systems and support for the full GVA 23-009 electronic architecture enable capable and future-ready system integration. High mobility is complemented by an integrated recovery winch. The vehicle has a 3.5 t gross vehicle weight, with an option to increase this to 4.5 t.

Enhanced Protection Vehicle

The Shadow Wolf Protected is a protected vehicle designed for tactical troop transport and operations in demanding environments. With a 4.9 t gross vehicle weight and a 500 kg payload for up to four personnel, the vehicle provides STANAG Level 1 ballistic and mine protection. Its protected enclosed body enhances crew survivability while also providing increased security for mission equipment.

The vehicle features an integrated rear-view camera system and supports both protected troop carriage and mission-system integration. A common approach to seating, mission equipment and support, aligned with CARACAL and Wolf Pack, maximises commonality across the vehicle family. Despite its enhanced protection, the Shadow Wolf Protected maintains high mobility and tactical off-road performance.

Silver Wolf

Battlefield Ambulance

The Silver Wolf can be configured as a multi-role MEDEVAC vehicle for casualty care and evacuation in deployed environments. Depending on the configuration, it accommodates two Combat Medical Technicians and either one to two stretcher casualties plus two seated casualties, or four stretcher casualties. NATO-compatible stretcher and casualty handling systems, together with an integrated sliding stretcher, enable rapid and efficient casualty loading. Clinical lighting and auxiliary HVAC support medical operations in the field.

Troop Carrier Vehicle

For tactical troop movement, the Silver Wolf enables personnel to be transported across dispersed and austere environments. With a 4.9 t gross vehicle weight, it carries six dismounts, or up to eight personnel including crew. Troop seating and weapon stowage are optimised for tactical mobility, while an auxiliary HVAC system enhances occupant endurance and comfort. A shared module architecture maximises commonality across the vehicle family and supports efficient sustainment.

Timber Wolf

Utility & Equipment Support Variants

The Timber Wolf provides forward maintenance capability at the point of need. Its configurable payload accommodates tools, spares, diagnostic equipment and specialist support equipment. This enables repair, maintenance and field sustainment tasks in accordance with UK and NATO standards directly in the operational environment.

As a flexible payload utility vehicle, the Timber Wolf has a 4.9 t gross vehicle weight and a payload capacity of up to 2 t. It can carry two NATO pallets and is available with open, covered or enclosed loadspace configurations. This allows the vehicle to be adapted to a wide range of transport and equipment-support requirements.

Caracal

The Caracal is Rheinmetall's airborne platform. Compact and air-transportable, this 4x4 all-terrain vehicle is primarily designed for airborne and special operations. It is characterised by speed, a low profile, scalable protection and a wide range of weapon options, offering a high degree of agility and modularity for all users in global operations.

Its unique modular design allows the Caracal to be used in a variety of roles, particularly in airborne operations. This makes it suitable as a combat vehicle or a simple troop transporter, with specialised variants available for combat engineers and medical units.
