GMARS sets a new benchmark in modern rocket artillery. Born from a transatlantic partnership between Lockheed Martin and Rheinmetall, it combines the unmatched firepower and precision of combat proven HIMARS launcher technology with the mobility, reliability and logistics of the Rheinmetall’s HX 8x8 truck, made in Europe.
Built upon real operational experience in Ukraine, GMARS delivers double the firepower, extended reach, and unrivaled flexibility. Compatible with a scalable missile portfolio incl. GMLRS Unitary, ER-GMLRS, ATACMS and the new PrSM, GMARS offers decisive effects across the full range of military multi domain operations.
Its launcher-loader module variants feature two reloading solutions – Boom & Hoist and Crane – ensuring maximum flexibility, rapid reload times, and seamless Shoot & Scoot operations.
The HX 8x8 platform is proven in over 20,000 units across more than 15 user nations. With a 99% operational availability and over 1 billion kilometers in the toughest terrain, it’s a strategic backbone for today’s battlefield. The system offers maximum modularity in terms of protection and BMS integration, as well as maximum growth capacity including active protection systems and autonomous driving.
