The Rheinmetall Academy supports the training and professional development of all employees through in-person and remote seminars.

Rheinmetall is experiencing a period of growth and is regarded as an attractive employer. Respect for and protection of human rights are of central importance and are regularly reviewed through risk analyses.

Rheinmetall invests in innovative solutions through research and development. State-of-the-art manufacturing facilities also contribute to the infrastructure by generating their own energy.

Rheinmetall relies on invests in robust and resilient supply chains, which includes a risk-conscious approach to raw materials. In addition to production, product maintenance and repair also play a role. Many of the products have a very long service life.

Rheinmetall is doing its part to help decarbonize Europe. To this end, the company is continuously reducing CO2 emissions, investing in renewable energy, and monitoring progress.

15 | Life on Land
At certain locations, Rheinmetall actively contributes to the protection of nature and endangered species. In Unterlüss, about one-third of the testing grounds are designated as a nature reserve. In South Africa, nature and species conservation efforts are carried out across more than 5,000 hectares of land.

16 | Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
Rheinmetall’s products enable the German Armed Forces and NATO partners to maintain deterrence and thus protect their countries, populations, and freedom. Without the ability to defend themselves, peace is not possible.

As a member of the UN Global Compact, Rheinmetall supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Through the Sector Dialogue Automotive Industry, Rheinmetall is committed to workplace safety throughout the supply chain.
