As Technical Manager (m/f/d) you will take responsibility for the technical success of the respective projects or sub-projects (depending on the scope and size of the project), in the field of ground simulation. In addition to the technical management of development teams, your responsibilities also include conceptual collaboration in the project.

The following activities await you in detail:

  • Coordination of the development activities (focus on software development) within the project
  • Creation of concepts and specifications for systems and subsystems
  • Implementation of requirements analysis and management
  • Creation of technical decision templates (including make or buy) as well as test concepts and documents
  • Coordination or creation of essential system documents
  • Implementation of system tests as well as technical reviews and audits
  • Reporting and presentation of the development results in project status meetings
  • Technical offer presentation at customer site
  • Market observation of current technical trends

Within the matrix structure of the projects, you will also support other internal departments in the following tasks:

  • Implementation of system integration and error detection
  • Creation of quantity structures and time schedules
  • Definition, planning and control of work packages
  • Negotiating technical content with customers, partners and suppliers



  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position or experience in leading development teams
  • Experience in international projects is desirable
  • Knowledge in requirements engineering
  • High linguistic competence in the creation of documents (English/German)
  • Analytical thinking, willingness to innovate and negotiation skills
  • Interest in actively shaping a customer-oriented development process
  • Experience with simulation systems is desirable
  • Very good German and English language skills in spoken and written
  • Basic readiness also for international business trips
