• Management of the multifunctional Change & Release Board for the weapon system turret
  • Independent organization and control/execution of the Change Board
  • Analysis of all changes in terms of QKT and Fit, Form & Function
  • Ensure changes and approvals to meet baseline requirements and derived specifications
  • Exercise governance for the product structure with regard to variant management
  • Ensure that all data and documents are checked for completeness during release
  • Practice stakeholder management for all internal departments and external suppliers along the entire value chain
  • Ensure compliance with the global change process
  • Reporting of release and maturity status to the project management and PMO based on the released scopes
  • As internal consultant responsible for regular awareness sessions, training and technical support for all internal and external project staff
  • Participate in process improvements with all actors of the configuration management
  • Preparation of configuration audits


  • Successfully completed technical studies in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace, computer science or industrial engineering and management
  • Profound experience in configuration management
  • Comprehensive understanding of requirements management and system engineering, if possible experience in IBM Rational DOORS
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Result oriented, independent working method
  • Assertiveness, negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong team and communication skills
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Good knowledge of SAP, PLM/PDM, MS Office
