WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Job Description ( Responsibilities ):

Under the direction of the Tech-Center Director, the CAE Engineer is responsible for creating the CAE, defining necessary boundary condition, performing calculation and finalizing the results via a written report for each piston design being submitted. Furthermore, after certain training, the CAE engineer is expected to perform piston dynamic calculations, ring simulations and liner simulation. Required skills include:  communication in Chinese and English, presentation skills, self-motivation, a good understanding of Technical Mechanics, the Finite Element Method (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and the ability to operate a computer with moderate supervision in an effort to fulfill the company’s customer satisfaction goals.

1.Build calculation models submitted to CAE for analysis purposes to complete the overall piston system design process – subject work is to be completed within a reasonable time period.

2.Utilize CAE tools to perform CAE works and interpret the results for the Design and Application Engineers to ensure that internal KS design parameters are met.

3.Create and release CAE reports in Chinese, and in English as needed.

4.Develop and maintain a sound understanding of various piston system design concepts and the CAE results to ensure the most current and robust designs.

5.Assist Application engineers with the assembly of customer presentations as needed.

6.Conduct seminars for Design engineers, Applications engineers and other engineers  to understand the CAE findings.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Requirements:

1.Education:

Master or PhD degree in engineering, or mathematics or physics

2.Work experience:

3——5 years working experience 

3.Reasoning ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

4.Language skills:

English and Chinese (speaking and writing). 

Other languages like German are preferred.
