WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  

  • Concept development for mechanical assemblies/design studies 
  • Mix of computer based work and project meeting, support of prototype teams within the workshop
  • Definition and coordination of space claims in Siemens NX 
  • Design and control of customer-specific equipment 
  • Preparation of specifications for mechanical assemblies for the assignment of subcontractors 
  • Checking the work results of subcontractors and internal specialist departments including tolerance analysis, collision checks etc 
  • Analysis and evaluation of changes for system compatibility 
  • Supervision of the production during the construction of prototypes
  • Implementation of internal design reviews and management of weight balances
  • Construction and testing of CAD/PDM article structures 
  • Close Cooperation with Engineering Teams in Germany (UK and Australia) and with other functional and specialist departments (Project, Purchasing, Quality, Production, etc.)
  • High level of understanding of the overall system

 

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Completed university studies in the field of mechanical engineering
  • 2-3 years of professional experience and profound knowledge in the field of mechanical developments 
  • Interest in actively designing the customer-oriented development result
  • Very good knowledge of PDM, Siemens NX, DOORS and MS Office, CAD tools
  • Independent and structured way of working 
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills 
  • Willingness to travel (Germany) within 3 days within one month
  • Open mindset, team player and budget orientated personality

 

ADVANTAGE 

  • German language skills 
  • Background in Heavy Machines-, Automotive- or similar industry sectors would be beneficial
