• Organizational and disciplinary management of the product development department
  • Responsibility for cross-location processes and methods with regard to electronics hardware development at different European locations
  • Strategy development and implementation
  • Planning and monitoring of resources, investment and external support activities
  • External and internal representation role
  • Planning and realization of staff qualification measures
  • Planning and pursuit of all hardware development activities
  • Care and expansion of interfaces with internal customers as well as with external suppliers
  • Development and implementation of a performance monitoring process, in line with KPIs, for hardware product costs, turnaround times, quality assurance, etc.


  • Completed studies of electrical engineering or comparable education
  • Several years of professional experience in the area of hardware development of electronic control units, preferably in the area of electric motor propulsions and power electronics
  • Proven leadership skills in managing technical teams
  • Knowledge about relevant and essential standards in the automotive
    area (ASPICE ISO 15504, Functional Safety ISO 26262, EMC, etc.)
  • Good understanding of relevant simulation tools for electronics design
  • Experiences with DOORS, e-CAD systems, PSPICE, etc.
  • Desirable: basic knowledge of SW development and mechanical construction
  • Desirable: basic knowledge in the fields of combustion engines and vehicle propulsions
  • Good German and English language skills in spoken and written form 
  • Safe user skills in MS Office Tools and MS Project requested
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
