• Execution of project-related technical configuration management including subcontractors and consortium partners
  • Independent organization and management of the internal change control board during the development of complex systems and management of configuration statuses
  • Management of change management to technical documentation (e.g. drawing set)
  • Independent preparation and conduct of internal multifunctional configuration committee meetings and participation in change conferences at the client's site
  • Securing reference configurations and providing information on the status of delivered products with regard to their build status
  • Analysis of all changes in terms of valid fit, form & function rules
  • Ensure compliance with configuration management specifications and the change process
  • Completeness check of all data within the reporting and change management
  • Support of data and document management in the project
  • Contribute to continuous process and tool improvements with all configuration management stakeholders including construction status management
  • Regular project-related reporting
  • Participation in configuration audits in the project


  • Successfully completed technical studies or comparable training as a technician with relevant professional experience
  • Professional experience in technical change management
  • Quick comprehension and experience with large overall systems in the field of plant or vehicle construction
  • Knowledge of DIN ISO 10007 is an advantage
  • Good user skills in MS Office, SAP (materials management and administration of technical objects) and PLM/PDM
  • Result-, process-oriented and independent way of working
  • Assertiveness, negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Distinct team and communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
