The PDM Architect & Implementation Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and adaptation of software in the area of the PDM/PLM system using modern software development techniques as well as the consulting and introduction of solutions in the PDM/PLM environment. This key strategic position is a pivotal role focusing mainly on the successful delivery of infantry fighting vehicles (e.g. Boxer CRV, Lynx) for our international projects.

The tasks will include:

  • Analyse and evaluate all processes / functions and to compare cross entity usage and industry best practise.
  • Develop and define attributes for a master data concept together with the configuration management team and the engineering department.
  • Catalogue and evaluate all released and not released processes in use.
  • Define requirements for data management systems. Develop and manage user- and business acceptance tests.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

  • More than 7 years relevant experience in running and developing master data.
  • Experience with export regulation for data concerning arms regulations and intellectual property.
  • Track record of succefully executed projects for IT-processes, -methods and -tools.
  • Profound knowlede of managing, developing and working with ERP, PLM/PDM systems, tracking-tools, as well as MS Office.
  • Profound project management skills in terms of cost, time and delivery quality.
