• Creation of corporate strategies in the area of materials management and their implementation

  • Analysis and organizational optimization of structures in the entire area of responsibility

  • Management of operational purchasing incl. dunning and escalation management

  • Expediting with structured deployment and concepts on site with suppliers

  • Development of a future-oriented disposition incl. definition of optimal stock levels under consideration of delivery risks and tied-up capital

  • Conceptual design of suitable in-plant logistics, with the aim of supporting stacked production including "kitting" of materials

  • Permanent optimization of material storage and material turnover

  • Establishment of material traceability from goods receipt to delivery of complete assemblies / vehicles incl. packaging and customs clearance

  • Creation of complete data transparency in all ERP systems, responsibility for HSE within logistics

  • Definition, analysis and maintenance of KPIs and initiation of measures to improve the company's performance

  • Definition of interface processes and information flows together with the departments and areas concerned


  • Successfully completed technical or business studies (e.g. mechanical engineering or logistics) and / or comparable training
  • At least 2-3 years of professional and management experience in the field of materials management
  • Experience in the restructuring of processes and departments, as well as in the topic of employee management
  • Confident handling of ERP systems and application programs
  • Profound technical knowledge of business processes along the complete supply chain
  • In-depth and extensive knowledge of logistical processes as well as methods and tools
  • Knowledge in customs clearance of international shipments desirable
  • CIP methodology competence, ideally with Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Confident appearance in communication, whether internal or external, as well as a team-oriented way of working
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken, negotiation skills
