• Conceptualisation and design of signal processing functions and data fusion in the field of heterogeneous 
  • Evaluation of state-of-the-art solutions
  • Analysis, identification and specification of system requirements and system interfaces
  • Development of adaptive signal processing models for sensor arrays
  • Observation of current technical trends and advances in signal processing
  • Implementation of the designed concepts in close cooperation and coordination with the technical departments
  • Technical leadership of technical development teams
  • Carrying out technical and commercial cost estimates
  • Coordination and preparation of system documents
  • Preparation of proposals and processing of research and technology studies


  • Completed technical or natural science studies, e.g. computer science, electrical engineering, physics or comparable
  • Sound knowledge of sensor technologies (e.g. day-optical sensors, SWIR, MWIR)
  • Sound knowledge of digital signal processing and sensor data fusion
  • Creativity and distinctive innovative ability in solving complex technological problems
  • Ideally knowledge of the military environment
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • And fluent German skills
  • Willingness to travel worldwide (for a limited period of time)
