About Us

We are delivering LAND 400 Phase 2 program and developing new products across our tactical and logistic product ranges. We have an immediate vacancy available for an experienced mechanical design engineer to be based at MILVEHCOE (Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence) in Redbank, Brisbane.

We are seeking innovative engineers with a minimum of 10 years’ experience of mechanical design.

 

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

The experience and skillset best suited to this role include: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in mechanical or automotive engineering;
  • Minimum of 10 years experience;
  • At least 5 years armoured fighting vehicle design experience including protection, signatures and mobility.
  • Experience with and an understanding of German defence industry practices;
  • An understanding of technical certification to safety and quality Standards;
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, consultation and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to relocate if not located in Brisbane;
  • An ability to travel internationally and interstate when and if required.
