  • Providing technical leadership
  • Reviewing of other team members work to ensure accuracy and compliance with completion criteria 
  • Coaching and developing a team of Engineers to effectively and efficiently
  • Deliver one-on-one meetings to review project status, performance goals update
  • Organizational, project related and budget related tasks
  • Teaching and enabling adherence to the development best practices, engineering process, and tools 
  • Resource matching to project needs and assignment 
  • Building up the team 
  • Owner or participant of team/organization’s initiative(s) 
  • Close Cooperation with Engineering Teams in Germany (UK and Australia) and with other functional and specialist departments (Project, Purchasing, Quality, Production, etc.)
  • High level of understanding of the overall system
  • Background in Heavy Machines-, Automotive- or similar industry sectors would be beneficial

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in development of software systems and leading software/electronic development 
  • BS Degree in a Science or Engineering Field (Computer Science, Electric or Electronics Engineering)
  • Demonstrated industry experience and leading software/electronic development projects 
  • Experience with programming languages 
  • System Administration experience 
  • Familiarity with automation tools 
  • Strong business acumen to take complex technical information 
  • Excellent Hungarian and English language skills and willingness to travel (Germany)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Profit center mentality
