In the position of an Electrical Developer (m/f/d) you work in a team of system developers (m/f/d) and mechanical designers (m/f/d) in the “Outdoor Components & Future Applications” department on major technical projects and state-of-the-art technology.

As an Electrical Developer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Electrical development of simple electromechanical devices / segments / systems according to requirements and production using suitable tools
  • Development of solution principles for the implementation of requirements taking into account the reuse of existing components
  • Creation of requirements-based concepts as well as overarching management plans
  • Design of the responsible unit in accordance with production requirements as well as design and selection of suitable standard and purchase parts
  • Coordination with other specialist departments regarding the function, operation and design of electronic/optronic devices
  • Creation and technical review of the prepared, standard-compliant documentation (development and production documentation)
  • Performing product data processing in SAP PLM
  • Planning, coordination and implementation of integration and commissioning activities for the first product
  • Carrying out the series maturation as well as the required tests and tests for the responsible unit during development (engineering tests)


  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering, mechatronics or similar
  • Ideally, several years of experience in the electrical development of devices and systems
  • Good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: electric. drives, power supplies, computer systems, interface electronics, input/output devices, bus systems, processors
  • Good knowledge of SAP PLM and very good English skills
  • Ideally experience in development with the cable development tool E3 series
  • Willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation
  • Worldwide readiness to travel
  • Structured, goal-oriented and independent working methods with a safe appearance
