• Implementation, supervision and documentation of tests on vehicle systems and assemblies of internal and external customers to ensure electromagnetic compatibility
  • Error analysis with cause identification and corrective measures
  • Preparation of EMC test reports for internal and external customers
  • Consultation and preparation of EMC test plans and EMC circuit measures
  • Presentation and illustration of technical facts with reference to EMC
  • Determination & calculation of measurement uncertainties in the EMC laboratory according to standard specifications
  • Standards research, evaluation & implementation of metrological standards requirements in practice as well as assistance in standards committees
  • Development, technical implementation and verification of new EMC measurement procedures


  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering or a comparable discipline
  • Professional experience in a comparable position desirable
  • Knowledge in the use of measurement technology programs, such as LabView
  • Experience in the defence and/or automotive industry is an advantage
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good written and spoken English and German as well as a basic willingness to travel
