WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Holistic takeover (insourcing) of SAP application server operation and SAP Basis Administration from the current external service provider as well as responsibility for independent internal continuation
  • Definition of future SAP application services (FMO) in close coordination with our business partners
  • Standardization, harmonization and documentation of the SAP application landscape as well as its international coordination
  • Responsible implementation and support of application projects in the SAP Basis environment
  • Coordination with the responsible internal IT teams for HW, OS, DB, VM, IAM and network
  • Consulting and support of our business partners in the central and specialist departments of the AG as well as the companies
  • Administration and overview of the overall area for which you are responsible with regard to requirements for operation, user support, further development and projects
  • Coordination of external service providers

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of information technology or business administration or comparable training
  • Professional experience in the conception, organization, implementation and monitoring of SAP Basis system operations as well as SAP Basis administration
  • Knowledge of authorization administration as well as ABAP Dictionary and Development Workbench desirable
  • Strong will to build up a professional in-house application operation and project support for SAP Basis in a dynamic environment
  • Methodical knowledge (ideally with certification) in the areas of project management and ITIL is an advantage
  • Knowledge of processes in discrete manufacturing desirable
  • Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • High ability to work under pressure, communication skills, presentation skills as well as team-oriented and self-reliant way of working
  • Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
