WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Analysis of system requirements for the Lethality area and determination of error budgets for the calculation of hit probabilities. The task includes in detail:

  • Assumption of a leading project role as a systems engineer for the Lethality division
  • Responsibility for meeting the performance requirements of the weapon system
  • System requirements analysis
  • Creation of system specifications and architectures
  • Creation of concepts as well as models for the calculation of error budgets
  • Calculation of hit probabilities
  • Evaluation of bombardment results
  • Collaboration in international teams across different locations

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Completed studies in the field of engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in the relevant field, including significant experience in the areas of lethality, weapon and sight systems
  • Applied knowledge of the mechanical, electrical and logical interfaces of the lethality subsystem within the framework of the overall design of the system as well as design of gun turrets and weapon systems
  • Develop specifications for interface requirements between sighting systems, sensors, fire control, weapon control and the core electronic architecture
  • Familiarity with safety standards and requirements for the design and qualification of safety-related systems and experience in performing system-level trade-offs to determine the optimal architectural design within the system design boundaries for the vehicle
  • Applied knowledge of EOPM as well as automatic target tracking and acquisition, supporting algorithms and general image processing to support situational awareness or target acquisition
  • Structured, logical analyst with profound knowledge of small and medium calibre turrets and weapon systems
