The Development Engineer Valve Technology for the Hydrogen Sector (m/f/d) is responsible for the development of high-pressure hydrogen valves for mobile tank systems. In addition to the constructive design and optimization of the valve, he is significantly involved in the coordination of development partners.

  • Development of high-pressure valves, pressure regulators and fittings for mobile hydrogen refueling systems
  • Definition and coordination of requirements in the project team and with the development partners
  • Dimensioning, calculation, simulation, validation, evaluation and specification of components
  • Testing of the construction stages at component and system level
  • Full product development incl. development of ideas, design of prototypes and industrialization of these
  • Research of valid standards
  • Protection of ideas by means of patents
  • Benchmarking on the market
  • Design and archiving of the parts, components and systems


  • Successfully completed master or diploma studies in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position in the relevant area of responsibility
  • Knowledge of high pressure and CATIA V5
  • Solid experience and knowledge in project management
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Goal-oriented, independent and systematic way of working as well as very good organizational skills
