The BOXER 8x8 vehicle armoured vehicle has been developed in a joint co-operation programme between Germany and the Netherlands by the international consortium ARTEC GmbH in Munich, Germany. ARTEC is a joint-venture of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. It is the prime contractor responsible for the BOXER Programme, the co-ordination of series production and the focal point for export opportunities. Annual sales are normally between 300 and 400 million EUR and as of February 2021 more than 1,300 BOXER vehicles have been contracted.

  • Support of the ARTEC Commercial Manager with regard to commercial activities for the ARTEC GmbH and for the execution of the current and subsequent BOXER contracts with our customers Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
  • Management of proposals, i.e. coordinating and issuing proposals to official services (e.g. OCCAR, NSPA and BAAINBw) representing our customers. Monitoring the overall change proposal process of the ongoing BOXER contracts
  • Coordination of terms and conditions within the joint-venture. Negotiation of terms and conditions with official services
  • Providing input for the relevant ARTEC reports, monitoring and updating of status summaries
  • Compiling and checking delivery documents against contractual obligations
  • Assisting the Commercial Manager in preparing proposals for new business opportunities (export)


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of business administration, economics or comparable
  • Professional experience in the described area
  • Knowledge of contractual issues, preferably of defence related programmes
  • Industry experience advantageous
  • Competent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Team skills and good oral and written communication skills in English and German
  • Structured and analytical way of working
  • Pro-active and empowering way of working
  • Willingness to travel
