• Holistic takeover (insourcing) of the EDI support and interface development of our current external service provider as well as its operational continuation under our own responsibility
  • Definition of the future EDI architecture / interfaces (FMO) in coordination with our business partners
  • Standardization, harmonization and documentation of the EDI landscape
  • Implementation and support of application projects in the EDI environment
  • Coordination with the responsible IT teams for the topics HW, OS, DB, VM, IAM and network
  • Consultation and support of our business partners in the central and specialist departments of Rheinmetall AG and its subsidiaries
  • Coordination of external service providers


  • Successfully completed studies in the field of information technology, business administration or comparable professional training
  • Professional experience in the implementation and monitoring of EDI operations as well as in the analysis, conception and implementation of requirements / interfaces in the EDI context
  • Knowledge of common EDI formats (VDA, EDIFACT etc.) as well as in format conversion from / to iDocs
  • Knowledge of OFTP2 data exchange
  • Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Motivation to build up a professional in-house application operation as well as project support for EDI in a dynamic environment
  • Methodical knowledge (ideally with certification) in the areas of project management and ITIL is an advantage
  • Knowledge of discrete leadership desirable
    Distinct initiative, independent working style as well as intercultural skills and willingness to travel
