• Holistic takeover (insourcing) of the operation and support of SAP-related applications in the areas of document management, working time recording, output management and other application areas of our current service provider
  • Independent continuation of application operation and support
  • Definition of future application services (FMO) in coordination with our business partners
  • Standardization, harmonization and documentation of the SAP-related application landscape
  • Implementation and support of application projects
  • Coordination with our internal IT teams regarding the topics HW, OS, DB, VM, IAM, SAP and network
  • Consulting and support for our business partners in the central and specialist departments of Rheinmetall AG and its companies
  • Coordination of external service providers


  • Successfully completed studies in the field of information technology or business administration or comparable professional training
  • Professional experience in the implementation as well as supervision of general application operations
  • Process knowledge of discrete manufacturing as well as methodical knowledge (ideally with certification) in project management and ITIL desirable
  • Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Motivation to familiarize yourself with the operation and administration of SAP-related applications (e.g. OpenText / IXOS, ATOSS, COSMOS, Plossys)
  • Initiative, affinity for technology and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
