WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Driving of change management (internal and external)
  • Maintenance of drawing set and configuration data in projects in the PLM system
  • Observance and continuous improvement of the internal configuration processes
  • Agree build status defining parts list with all stakeholders und maintain the build status of delivered systems throughout the project and product lifecycle in SAP
  • Provide internal support to all departments with regard to configuration management guidelines and rules
  • Create Configuration Management Plan for the project containing standard and project specific procedures (if any) including Configuration Identification, Configuration Control and Status Accounting.
  • Organize and run the Configuration Control Board for issue and change management
  • Support internal and external configuration audits in projects
  • Define KPIs and establish regular reporting on those as well on the Configuration Status Accounting
  • Support for data management in projects and release control of project documentation
  • Securing of development results and archiving of product-related documents by setting up baselines in accordance with the configuration management process
  • Provision of build status report of delivered products
  • Planning and implementation of in-house training on configuration management

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Completed technical studies in mechanical, electrical or business engineering
  • Several years of experience in configuration management or technical change management of complex systems
  • Very good knowledge and working experience with MS-Office, SAP and a PLM system
  • Knowledge of configuration processes in conformity with the DIN ISO 10007
  • Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
