WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Create the software solutions of tomorrow with us! For our flight simulation we are looking for a motivated software developer (m/f/d) who enjoys hardware-related software development and who wants to contribute to and further develop our simulators.

You will take over the following tasks:

  • Software development in C++ mostly according to architecture, partly also according to design specifications, for various interfaces within the simulator
  • Focus on programming of hardware related software parts (HWIO, CAN-Bus, etc.) as well as software parts for controlling motion and vibration systems
  • Independent testing, error analysis and optimization of the self-developed software parts on the hardware
  • Integration of own software parts in sub-systems or in the target system flight simulator
  • Documentation of the software components for which you are responsible
  • Cooperation in an agile developer team
  • Support of the system integration

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Completed studies in the field of computer science, aerospace, communications/electrical engineering, or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in software development
  • Good programming and design skills in C++
  • Complex understanding of software architecture
  • Experience in handling test, measurement and analysis equipment is desirable
  • Experience in the field of flight simulation is an advantage, at least a high affinity to the field of aviation
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
