  • Responsibility for leading the cross-functional team of change and release committees for turret weapon systems
  • Organization, management and execution of change and release committees
  • Analyze all changes with respect to quality, cost & time, and fit, form & function
  • Ensuring baseline and specification compliance for all changes and releases
  • Control of the product structure according to variant & version management
  • Reviewing all data and documents for completeness prior to the change or release process
  • Responsibility of stakeholder management for all internal departments and external suppliers along the entire value chain and product life cycle
  • Ensuring compliance with the global change process
  • Communicating the current project status to the project manager and the PMO based on the changed or released data
  • Responsibility for regular awareness events, training and technical support for all internal staff and external contractors
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes, methods and tools in the CM area
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal, external, and customer CM audits


  • Successfully completed degree in engineering, electrical/electronics, aerospace, computer science, automotive engineering or similar field
  • In-depth knowledge of configuration and change management
  • Broad experience with requirements management and knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Results-oriented, assertive work ethic and strong negotiation skills for management within the matrix
  • Logical and analytical skills, high motivation, networked thinking, ability to work in a team, mobility and mental flexibility
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • In depth knowledge in developing and working with ERP and PLM/PDM systems as well as MS Office
  • Previous experience from the defense industry in delivering complex platforms/systems is an advantage
